Grace Lee Whitney (born Mary Ann Chase April 1, 1930 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is an American actress. She is best known for swimming Yeoman Janice Rand on the first year (1966-1967) of Star Trek: The Original Series.

Grace began her amusement career as a "girl singer" in Detroit's WJR radio. She shortly opened around nightclubs for the likes of Billie Holliday, and toured sustaining a Spike Jones Band. Grace debuted around Broadway in Top Banana. She has mass produced guest appearances in complete Xxx different television series.

Grace reprised her role when Janice Rand, world health organization got received the promotion to Chief Petty Officer (CPO), inside Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979). Grace appeared over agaaround in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986),Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), with a second promotion, when Lt. JG Janice R&, and eventually a Star Trek: Voyager episode "Flashback".

Her autobiography is entitled A Longest Trek: The Tour of the Galaxy (1998). A book delves into her hiring & firing from either Star Trek: A Original Series & her fight & eventual triumph all over alcohol addiction.
